Yes 8/16 non-unlimited hold thems ftw.

stop being sarcastic. the fact is that his best winrate is in that game, so playing anything other than that game is just silly.

greater than 70% of your winnings came in less than 2000 hands (think about that for a minute..... SEVENTY PERCENT in TWO THOUSAND hands).

[/ QUOTE ]

this is pretty arbitrary. OP 'only' has won about 80k at 200/400+ PLO/NL (which is again arbitrary), which is less than a quarter of his winnings.

play more $8/$16

[/ QUOTE ]

I can't. I don't want to ruin my BB/100 at this level. Anything less than 200 BB/100 at this level is unacceptable in my mind.

I was a regular at 5/10 and chose to take some shots. It began with me tilt monkeying myself into playing Chip Reese HU at 200/400. I ran well and I went from there.

How do you game select?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm actually very patient when selecting games at higher stakes. It has definitely had an impact on my results. My basic rule of thumb is don't play when rugby, durrr, or Patrik are playing. Play when noataima, David Oppenheim, and David Benyamine are playing. Also, I enjoy playing against most short stackers at the nosebleed limits. They're not very good at it and it helps reduce variance to some extent.

If there were a game with rugby, durrr, Patrik, and noataima though, that would be a pickle. I'd probably end up playing because I can never not sit when noataima is playing.
