Default transfer to new comp

hi all, i just got my new comp however my old comp is currently now working, every time i turn it on it gets some error and shuts down. Anyways i have a lot of valuable info on this comp like a couple hundred k hands of 25 50 + notes and i really need these. Is there any way i can get it back, like take all the info from the hard drive and get it on a cd or something?
thanks

With your new computer, do you have room for an extra hard drive? If so, you can open up your old PC's case, remove the physical hard drive it's on, and install it in the new one. It's your best bet if you can't get the old one working now.

That or give more details on what's wrong with the old one, and we can try to fix it for you.
