I'd fold pre-flop. Ace rag isn't something you want to be playing as there are so many times when you are dominated and those hands tend to be expensive, also you are basically only playing one card, as the 8 isn't likely to help you much.

On the flop I'd bet the pot.
Turn, maybe .30
No way you're getting away from the hand on the river with aces full. Sorry he had AT/33. I would probably have pushed to his donk bet though.

Your river line is fine. Most likely you are spliting the pot. Just hope he called with some junky 34s or something. Any ways I would like for you to think about raising preflop. Your on the button and the only other person involved in the hand is the poster and your letting the BB come along for free. I don't think so... Raise

Why are you calling preflop?

This is the type of hand that'll get you into trouble when you hit and get played back at. It's not so bad if it's suited but it's not so i'd either raise for the blinds and out of turn dead blind or fold.

As played your only losing to 2 hands but i'd probably just flat call against unknowns.

P,s bet the turn too, something like 25-35c

With A-middle offsuit I won't always come in on the button, but to mix it up, I'll come in from time to time. I'm not one to stack off if I pair my ace.

As for checking the turn, this is a line similar to one I'll make if I flop-bet with a draw and get called. That way, anyone paying attention (though I'm not sure I should be thinking this at $5NL) won't be so quick to auto-bet me on the turn.

You don't need to mix it up. They don't pay attention and you rarely play against the same people for a long time.

Fish only have a 5 second memory, there's no need to mix up your play at NL 5.

River is fine only AT or Quads beat you. Most likely a split though.

Fold preflop or raise to try to steal the blinds, bet pot on flop, bet turn, call river.
