when youre deep you never check behind turns when a flush card hits trying to fill up?

getting ch/r' all on the turn would really suck for villain when he has a set

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree but were not deep anymore, we only have a PSB left in the stack. With a set you are pretty much commited already and you have outs but if a fourth spade hits youre in deep [censored].

i think this could likely be 55 or A8, (among other things)
He raises the flop with his 2pr/set, then is scared of the flush, then boats up

he has to know you have Ax+ here, so unless he is the type to try to push you off that here, I think you gotta fold

It's also possible he checked a flush on the turn

In my experience this min raise with a turn check and river bet is weakness. If he had minraised that flop then nearly potted the turn, I'd fold. With the line you took and the way he reacted I think I actually throw out 100 on the river. IF this guy has proven to be tricky in the past then I think you could say this is likely a set or flush but he looks awfully weak here and so do you. I think you could expect to see AJs here. I call and kinda quickly too. I do agree with a flop check tho.

this guy has AK. and by the river, he realizes its good or a split, so he's shoving.

Agreed i think you see 55 a lot here, he hopes you have a flush and if not hopes you are willing to call with the hand you have.

Not in a RR pot, I'm worried about flush draws almost never ina 3 bet pot pre-flop

This looks like a pretty easy fold for me.

Villain 3b from the BB... I dont think he's very likely to be doing this with 55. Maybe 77+ but not 55. Also if he was doing it with 55 he'd bet the turn, who cares about the 3rd flush card hitting when you have a PSB left - the main thing is with a set he doesnt want a 4th flush card comming and would get the money in on this turn incase YOU have the A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or Ace with X[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Therefore I think most his range is AK here. Unless he's getting funny with AT, AJ.
