Initial reaction is hero gets there - I call.

Could be J8 although unlikely, as are 67, 88, 78? JJ makes no sense.

Perhaps 99, TT, most likely QQ, KK, AA, AJ?

As I said I have a very bluffy image, and villains range is wide. He really doesnt like to fold with any piece of the board/pair. Surely both villain and hero can have 67s in this spot. Is his river shove ever a bluff? Is he shoving worse hands for value?

Also, how are the bet sizes on flop/turn?

From your background info I can't see him 3 betting 67, not HU out of pos. But of course this could be wrong, and if it's within his range then it changes everything - he could have played 67 like this for sure (although thats open for debate re: best line).

the pots like 8k on turn, you got 7k left, just shove turn.

Pot size is 6k on turn. Got 8 left.
I raised 900-->2500 on flop.. I normally make small bets/raises in reraised pots - is this a mistake?
I guess a flop raise to 3k-->turn shove is better with stack sizes..
Thoughts?

if he does call with any piece as you described, then a big(ger) raise on flop and shove turn is def fav.

Must be an error in OP then cause it says he calls 2500$ on flop?

I think bluffs get awfully expensive if I raise that much, and I will be bluffing in this spot quite alot.

Is my thought process flawed?

Edit: And saying he will call with any piece is an exaggeration, but he will call down pretty lightly.
