Another noob question-In one draft I picked Baltimore D 7th (after getting starters for QB,2 RB, and 3 WR) and someone said it was too early for Balt D. Should I have gone for backups, or is taking the D okay at that point?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd much rather take a third RB or fourth WR there than taking Baltimore. I'm of the opinion that unless you get a Bears or Ravens type-D, it really doesn't matter too much who you get and you can wait until just before you pick your kicker, and since those types of defence always go before I'd consider drafting them, I usually wait until the penultimate round.

You know that the Colts no longer play in Baltimore, right?

ESPN is having their mock draft right now if anyone is interested.

Most pathetic mock drafts ever.

lol @ Michael Smith's team. Picking Palmer 8th overall is just golden.

The whole thing made me want to cry. 8 team league. Manning goes in round 1! Gates goes in round 3!?!?! I'm just shocked at how bad these guys were. Nick Bakai and Mark Schlerate (sic) at least looked like they had a clue.

fingokra,

14 teams is a huge league. Really thins things out. No likey. 12 is perfect in my opinion but so be it...

I have B.Jacobs at #22 RB on my list. Not sure how many were taken by your #31 pick but whatever.

A TE in the 4th is a big mistake. Real big. This is where you get that 3rd RB or even go WR/WR for the 54/59 pick. It really drops off after the top 18 so I would look to grab one of the last remaining ones there. TE's are all the same after Gates. You could probably have waited and gotten Winslow/Crumpler/ect with the 87 pick.

Picks 5-9 look good. Lots of value and stability there. Not sure who Curtis Taylor is but if you mean Chester Taylor then that is a big score that late.

DeDe Dorsey was a smart pick but the rest of the draft seems pretty meh...

8 team league mock draft. I have 3rd pick

L. Johnson
S. Smith
M. Jones-Drew
A. Gates
A. Boldin
Lee Evans
J. Kitna
Ahman Green
C. Chambers
J. Galloway
W. Dunn
M. Leniart
Lendale White
Jaguars D
Shayne Graham

Is Gates at #30 too soon? Is Smith okay here in the 2nd rd? He was the first WR taken.

10-team Dynasty League. This is our first year of this league. Standard scoring, and I picked 8th. (1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1D/ST)

Willie Parker
Ronnie Brown
Reggie Wayne
Anquan Boldin
Matt Leinart
Randy Moss

We're halfway through the 6th round. How have I done, and where should I be looking? I'm obviously placing a premium on youth, but don't feel like this is going bad so far.
