Live 100NL - Flopped set on monotone flop
Live 100NL, 2/2 blinds
Hero has $100, villain covers Hero is passive pre-flop, marginally aggressive post-flop but doesn't like to commit chips unless he's got a huge hand. Hero limps 88 in EP, 6 more limp. ($14) Flop: Tc-8c-5c Hero bets $10, villain immediately to hero's left raises to $30, all else fold. What's Hero's plan for this hand? Villain is a typical live donk but hasn't shown anything incredibly stupid, however we've only played with villain for an hour or so. |

Shove. This is live 100NL, almost all villains playing live 100NL are flat calling a flush here and you just might get action from a draw and/or TP

Re: Live 100NL - Flopped set on monotone flop
LOL That's what I said. My buddy was hero and he called the raise, c/c'ed $40 or so on the turn, then c/c'ed all-in on the river. I asked him why he played it like that, he said because he could fold if another club came out.
