you'd get better replies by cutting off the action at your turn decision.

lead the turn so UTG can call just one bet and hope MP1 raises.
This turn will get checked behind a lot with whiffed overs.

Why do you expect him to call river? I would hope for him to call, or even better raise, but not expect it.

I donk the turn hoping the MP1 raises after UTG calls. All a CR would to is to blow UTG out of the hand and thats if the other guy c-bets...

also you need to look carefully your preflop decision and the odds you were getting to draw to your gutshot plus 1 pair hands that may not be best on the flop when you dont close the action.

if I'm thinking about seeing the turn with a gut shot in this spot I would probably leadout on the flop ... you don't really have the odds to call (or the implied odds it's only 3way)

IMO you should be leading out on the turn

why ... MP1 raises preflop and bets the flop (3way this is pretty standard regardless of what he has)
gets two callers on a rainbow board ... and the 8 compliments the board

What I'm doing is grunching.

Lead the turn based on the awesome hand and we don't know who will lead and it would suck to have it checked behind.

Thx Guys,,

Starting hand selection from BB is definetly a leak.. trying to work on that now.....

Turn pot odds.... For some reason I had in my head I needed 8-1 and I was just under that... Realized after that I screwed that 1 up...

Which brings me to question about pot odds

I might make a call with just under the right odds on one hand because of the times that I call with great odds on another... I think that this theory is ok?
Thoughts???

Ok let me ask you a question:

Would you play me heads or tails giving me 3:2 odds because you got to play with another smuck earlier who gave you 2:1 odds?

No way!!!! But I could give you 3:2.5 and in the long run that would be +ev, right?

It is even more +EV to refuse the bad odds and only take the good ones, no?
