aj gets 3 bet from aggro player

villian is a 20/20/4 he has been very aggro 3 betting a lot. this hand is from my coaching session today. after we made our play, i still had a tough time understanding why, even after it was explained to me. hero shoved in this spot.

hero is utg with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] , hero raises to 14, folds to sb who calls, villian raises to $42 , hero??

All options are at your disposal. Don't look for a default or standard here. Recent history and table dynamics should ultimately dictate your decision.

if you've never 4bet him before, and didnt really tangle with villain too much previously, nows the perfect time to put in a 4bet to ~144..ur utg, reppin a biggg hand, especially if u didnt give villain reason to believ u would be outta line here...plus the sb calling inreases the frequency of villain squeezing, widening his range..u might be ahead of his range here and if not, he might lay down a better hand.. i think ur only gettin shoved on here with QQ+/AKs+
