Default 25/50 - AQ TPTK in 3B pot

This took place at party, Villain is playing 25/17/2.5 and we have been threebetting each other pretty much last hour. I play something like 20/17/2.5
I repoped him recently with AQ out of position, bet empty on flop and it went roundcheck on T and on R I hit my runner runner four to a straight. Which I checkcalled (he bluffed missed flushdraw A6s).

I guess he would flatcall like that with kings and aces (but I guess he will shove those hands on flop so I don't think he has KK/AA). AK probably fourbet or shove pre.
I don't think it's time for repping AK.

I agree with checkfolding this one. There are really no other good alternatives imo, unless you see him as superspewy.
Bet/fold is out of the question. Bet/call, meh. Check/call is the worst option. Check/raise... well, it's not good. At best he has a flush draw, but that's pretty optimistic and he probably wouldn't bet with a naked flush draw, right?

C/f.

Also... it's fullring. People never bluff.

Would be interested in hearing what people who normally play these kinds of games have to say about this hand.

Also, I have no idea of how c/c can be much worse than bet/call. Neither do I understand why a naked flushdraw wouldn't bet.

My bad about the number of players. OPs main game is 25/50 FR, so I just made an assumption.

I think bet/calling is better because you don't give villain any free cards. Also, check/calling is such a weak play on a board like this and you basically commit yourself to calling any non club river on a board with 4 card straight.

Obviously he could bet a naked flushdraw, I just don't think he has it/does it very often. Flushdraws are, in my experience, normally played pretty fast in reraised pots by aggressive opponents. Especially on this kind of board - a pretty bad one to float imo.

I would be interested in hearing your play here, rather than hearing what you think about what i wrote.

Do you NOT think c/f is the best alternative?

Just as a small remark on what you wrote HeheOk; he actually did just only call on flop with flushdraw in a reraised pot earlier. I mentioned it in the original post.

Anyway I'm looking forward to hear MDMA's line here.
