do i wait for the macs new OS???

so i have decided to get a new iMac but i am not sure if i should wait up for the new OS (loepard) to come out or not....

You haven't provided enough info.

Are you getting it for poker? To use the Mac operating system? Do the features in Leopard seem useful to you? Is it worth the money it will cost to upgrade to have the iMac earlier?

You should be able to figure it out on your own if you ask yourself the right questions.

You should wait. Apple isn't very good about spotting you the new OS if you get a machine with an earlier version on it first. When an actual date is announced call an Apple store and see what the policy is.
