Default How much of a salesman do you need to be?

I'm looking at getting a job in the financial world. However I hate being a salesman. I don't want to "sell" people on stuff just for a little extra commission.
Do most jobs involve this?
Obviously I could trade for myself. What other options are there?

TY

Of course! Just getting the job involves selling - yourself, that is. Selling is nothing more than making friends. Make friends, find out what people want, and the sales will come naturally...
