It just sucks for me that I fell into such an obvious trap. I did everything I was not supposed to do because I wanted to get the money over to stars as quick as possible. I was dumb about it. But, obviously learned my lesson and will not do it again. At least it wasn't for more money.

That may be true, but this is the second request I have made to transfer money. The other time, I got 2 responses, both from people with low post counts who registered recently. I had a successful trade with one of them. I also tried posting that time in the MTT Community W$ T$ thread and got no replies.

I know I was dumb about this and acted quickly, and I accept full responsibility, but I have not experienced a good reception from reputable posters trading with people with low post counts like I have. That's what got me into trouble. I did not expect a high volume poster to trade with me.

Live and learn.

Looking to transfer $270 from Stars to FT. PM me (or AIM: *******) if you've been registered here for at least 6 months to 1 year or if you have more than 1 reference.

[/ QUOTE ]

Don't post your AIM. Initial contact should be by 2+2 PM then exchange your AIM names through 2+2 PM. Otherwise you'll get scammers impersonating 2+2ers AIMing you.

IMPOSTER ALERT

http://www.liquidpoker.net/informati..._Thread...html

Cliff notes:

A person registered at Liquid Poker with the user name identical to a respected 2+2 trader (Backspin20).

He solicited a trade, hoping to dupe the unwary into thinking that they were the same person.

I contacted Backspin20 via PM here. He stated that he did not create a new account there.

If you make contact with anyone purporting to be a member here, then post here and let the veterans look things over.

Too bad I screwed up. I had high hopes that I would expose this guy.

Did you save any PM or IM transcripts?

No need to post them, just let me know if you have them.
