Progress Records
I make my own notes on my sessions and would like those who do the same to tell me if they use any free charts available online or how they chart there progress. Mine looks a lil like date, game type, #playrs,buy-in,bankroll start, win/lose, bankroll finish.
Is this appropriate to keep track?? |

Re: Progress Records
If your playing online, probably best just to use a program like poker-tracker. Plus, you will be able to go back to it for a deep analysis of your game and find out which cards are +EV for you and in what position.
For live play... I just add or subtract the amount won much like balancing a checking-book. I just put buy-in amount (so I know what level I am winning at) and the time I spent in the game (gives you an idea of how many BB/hr I guess).... that is it. |

Re: Progress Records
I can't speak for Poker Office. But I've found Poker Tracker to be extremely useful, giving good breakdowns of sessions/limits/blinds and also providing you with more information than you know what to do with (well me atleast, but im still learning). So if you can spare the few bucks I'd highly recommend getting PT and PAHUD.

Re: Progress Records
Does no one recommend poker office? Why? Also...with Poker tracker, what does the hud actually do? Thx to all that answer.

[/ QUOTE ] PAHUD puts the stats for yourself and your opponents on the table as opposed to in a separate window, which I found to be a pita. If you get Pokertracker, get PAHUD, as well. yw, --klez |
