Default chip stacks and KJo and a blind battle.

Home Tournament 7 player tourney. Everyone still in. First two pay.

I am UTG or 4 off the button.

I have 7 times the blinds in chips.

I hold KJo.

I folded this because I wasn't thinking about chip stacks. Is this an auto-push?

Another Hand -

I think the next hand, I'm in the bb with now about 6 blinds worth of chips. Folded to button who minimum raises.

Button has about 1.5x more chips that I. He is moderately aggressive. A minimum raise from him can be him wussing out or a bluff inducer.

I fold my T5s because I pondered out loud...'folded to btn and minimum raise', and felt that after that any raise would look like a bluff. (Now that I review it, it probably wouldn't matter.)

Folding KJo UTG with 7BBs is fine, depending on the table dynamic. If everyone is playing aggressive, and you don't think you'll have any open SB, button, or CO, etc. push opportunities, then maybe this is your spot. I'm folding this in most cases, though. I'm folding the BB there too, unless this guy's been doing that all night.

knowing the sizes of the other stacks at the table is fairly important, but if they're reasonable folding both is fine
