Default In honor of my new grill...

(lol)

...what are you guys grilling this summer? Unfortunately, I live in an apartment with a small balcony, so I haven't taken the leap to buy an outdoors grill since it'd be small and puny. Therefore, I upgraded my personal small Foreman grill into the next badass model!

As many of you know, I am newly single (broke it up with a girlfriend of 3 years last week). Because of this, I can cook whatever the [censored] I feel like.

Right now I'm boring and I've stuck with mainly:

-Chicken breasts (bought a hudge bag of frozen ones and just thaw/grill them)
-Top sirloin (chopped up and put into cheesesteaks ftw)
-Filet mignon (okay, only once since it was on sale at the grocer)
-Red peppers
-Bread (for sandwiches)

And I guess that's about it. I'd like to grill some corn on the cob and some roasted red potatoes, but I'm not sure how good that'll turn out on an indoor electric grill.

Marinades I'm using:
-Italian dressing
-Italian dry rubs (sea salt, cracked black peppercorn, oregano, cracked white pepper, thyme, a bunch of other stuff I forget - got the recipe when I used to work at Carabba's)
-Extra light olive oil
-Standard BBQ sauce
-Lemon juice

Anyway, fire away. I'd like to hear more suggestions, since I'll be really gung-ho on the Sunday cookouts for the next few months.

(P.S. Diomed I'm almost under 200 lbs)

Oh, I grilled some shrimp with a cajun rub, too. That's always good.

Broiling sword fish is good. you can get a 1/2 lb for like 7 bucks. put some olive oil on each side so it doesnt stick. Anything that you can grill you can broil.

I've got the smaller foreman I think, red colored with detachable plates.

Chicken has always been a staple. Recently I've grilled up some round steaks (some of which I used in a delicious steak, pepper, egg, and swiss sandwich on a croissant.. when I cheat I cheat good).

Frozen marinated mahi mahi fillets from Trader Joe's are actually a pretty sweet deal and quite tasty. I love seafood, but I'm too much of a wuss to buy fresh stuff, so this fills the void nicely.

I usually steam a bunch of asparagus at once, but if I'm lazy and don't feel like preparing a ton of it, I'll grill a few stalks on there too.

Doesn't the extra light have a pretty high smoke point too? That's the reason I use it for most of my cooking, including grilling.
