jmc [censored] owns me, his line is so sick if it's a bluff here, but obviously raising with two tens here is better than calling

its kinda ironic but i have tried a bluff with this line before with 1010 and i got looked up by AA, but this was months ago.

Upon further thought about this hand. If he really does often call flops with 77-TT here, I would call. Because I think he knows he can't profitably call with those types of holdings against your range unless he can outplay you sometimes on later streets. So i'm thinking he'll often decide to bluff this river, once he realizes you definately have that overpair, otherwise him calling with those med-big underpairs will be unprofitable imo.

But i'd also try to rely on timing or bet sizing tells here, to try to narrow it down to whether he's got it or not. Calling is definately the right move here IMO after further thought.

i haven't played a ton w/ JMC recently but he was never the one to turn made hands into bluffs (at least 100-150bbs deep).

agree,

also, I think this is exactly 77 or air an overwhelmingly majority of the time, just don't think he can help himself from betting Jx on that turn.
