[/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] yah i know it sounds stupid, but she had to move out of her parents house, and my lease was up at my last apartment so we needed to move in together. i wanted to give it a shot anyway since it has been almost 5 years and i didnt want to throw it away so soon. living together made me make up my mind. there's other stuff too like she wants to settle down and have kids, where as i want to travel and dont want kids. also, her dads been sick for the better part of our relationship, and ive stuck it out, but its very emotionally draining on her and me and i couldnt do it anymore. |

moving in together is a ridiculously stressful and challenging experience for even a really good relationship. my girlfriend and i never had a serious fight in a year or so of dating until we moved in together, then we argued all the time for a while. it's hard.
your relationship was probably doomed anyway but moving in with one another when you don't even really want to and then breaking it off because it sucks is stupid. |

When it's been five years you do whatever you think you can to save it. In truth, I would have done the same thing.
