dont get me wrong, if i have a semi read or get the hint he's rr-ing light then no doubt i 4-bet or just call and shove lots of flops.

but if your not shoving, whats your plan on xxx boards vs. a 16/12? are you just going to dump everytime you don't hit your A/K? shoving blank flops vs. this type of player seems suicidal. as steve said, even if you do hit your A/K your not going to get 100bbs in the middle ahead everytime.

[/ QUOTE ]

You can fold any flop where you don't hit either an A, a K, or a flush draw, and still have direct odds to call right now. You're like 40% as someone else has said to hit the board in this way, and even if you assume that you don't get any more money than what's already there when you do hit, you're still getting odds. (You do get stacked sometimes when you hit a K and he has AA or whatever, but we're assuming that you're +EV postflop given that you hit a pair or a FD, so if you average just making what's in the pot right now, that's a worst case scenario).

Reads: Villain is 16/12/13 over 121 hands. I have an active image.

If this read is accurate 4 betting this guy all in PF is asking for trouble.

to those who are calling pf,
are you stacking off 100% on Kxx or Axx? seems sortve dumb to hit your best card then fold later in the hand (ie. to heavy action). eh?

Played fine but I like 4betting preflop and folding to a push versus this guy. They usually fold JJ and QQ.

If you 4bet and he shoves you have to call because of podd odds imo.

For a 100BB, of course stacking off. I don't really understand the concept of folding AKs preflop, especially in position, provided we are almost given direct odds and most of the time are guaranteed a cbet on any flop.
