$220 Deep Stack at Horseshoe (Bossier City)

I played at the Horseshoe a couple weeks back somebody said something about them starting a Deep Stack Tourney. I called yesterday and they've had it for the past 2 Thursdays. First time was 78 players, Second time 77 players. The guy who I spoke to said it pays 9 places if there are 51-100 players and 12 places for anything over 100.

Last time 1st place was between $6k and $7k he said. Has anyone played in this yet? I'm going on Thursday. I know the last time I played at the Horseshoe the $1/$2 table was a dream just like any typical tourist table at a Vegas casino is. I'm hoping the tournament field is comprised of 1/3 to 1/2 of those players (of course more if possible).

I think the Deep Stack tournament gives me an advantage. They said it lasted almost 8 hours last time.

Any thoughts, opinions, or advice?
