Default multi tabling on party - cascade or window? (first post - loving 2+2)

Hi,
Im just moving from 6 tabling crypto to party.

I note party has re-sizable windows, so whats the general consensus as to the best viewing method for say 8 tables? cascade or window?

n/b - i have previously used a window method on crypto, never used a cascade view.

for u pros out there. for >8 tables, surely u use cascade?
do i need to practice this view?!

thanks, FYI, i have 2 2001FPs hooked up

thanks in advance.
easily the best forum around.

shand

I don't get why one would ask what the "general consensus" is for this. Wouldn't you just use whatever you like looking at better? If the "general consensus" was ugly as [censored] to you, would you use it?

You have two 2001FPs which were basically designed to 8 table with no overlap (or 10 table with a little overlap). Playing any other way than 1 table in each quadrant would be wasting the money you spent on your monitors.

I totally agree.

The point im trying to get across (badly) is:

is it possible to 12table using a window view? or, if i am to progress to such numbers, will i definately need to use cascade?
(hence need to get practiced at it)

Thanks guys

Well, no, you can't 12 table because Party only lets you open 10.

You can 9-table if you don't mind a small overlap and missing the chat window on the bottom 3 tables if you rotate both monitors to 1200x1600. Oh, and have a band running through the middle 3 where the monitors meet of course.
