ok so i have been doing research and have decided to buy a new iMac, but i have found out that mac is coming out with a new operating system in oct. called leopard. so the delema is, do i buy it now and upgrade when they get all the bugs out, or do i wait it out and just get the computer when leopard comes standard...?

Looks like you should wait... In the past Apple has not offered free upgrades even if you purchased just days before their next OS started shipping.

You will not regret the Mac purchase though -- I switched last October and love my Macbook Pro!
