Re: 50nl:I raise PF, then, I C/R the flop!
i like it. i agree, strange stack sizes. b/3b never works here because if he raises he isn't folding. and if he calls our turn play sucks. if he can fold, then this is good.
some how i doubt a 28/20 guy with only 30 stack is going to fold though. |

[/ QUOTE ] No, b3b is the best play because we're committed to 14 outs on the flop vs a halfstack. The bet is plus ev, and the 3bet is plus ev for value. And no, if he calls, we can make an easy commit/call on teh turn since we have fold equity. |

Against a laggy dude I like this. He'll bet a lot more hands than he'll call with and your hand has very solid equity against his presumably huge range.

Maybe king's, queens i doubt. if you b/3b here and he calls, he has 2p here pretty often right? |

Re: 50nl:I raise PF, then, I C/R the flop!
vs a 28/20 spewy lag, im pretty sure you can count around 75% of your overs as outs.
so, 12 outs then |

Re: 50nl:I raise PF, then, I C/R the flop!
Renton, im still trying to get my head around why you think b3b is better than c/r (i'm a bit slow this morning).
The way i see it if we b3b our initial bet has FE but the 3b has very little FE, therefore, both b3b and c/r have the same FE (i assume that villain will bet almost always when checked to), however when we c/r we get an extra bet from villain. Does this make sense? |

Re: 50nl:I raise PF, then, I C/R the flop!
and btw, i only say b3b because we're committed once we bet
i usually expect him to fold or just call |
