Default NL25 QQ 3 bet by BB

Only have about 10 hands V villain. Nothing out of the ordinary and this is the first time he has 3 bet.

Getting 3b w/ QQ blows.
Most villans 3b range is limited to KK+/AK so I would probably fold to the flop bet w/ the overcard here

my question is why call the flop and fold to a turn bet when a blank for his range comes?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by a blank for his range? I agree with previous poster that his range is centered around KK+,AK. I called the flop since he was unknown and could have been c-betting and maybe shutting down on the turn giving me a chance to showdown a reasonable hand. The fact that he fired again leads me to believe I'm beat.
