Ill allways have a soft spot for MC fans. I had just been to watch Chelsea and was sitting in a pub in West London.

There was a table with 4 men on it and they were all literally drunk out of their minds and sobbing and crying. They looked utterly emotionally crushed.

All was revealed when one of the men stood up and said "Stand up if you love City." at which all the other men stood up and took a drink from their glasses.

They had just been to watch City lose at QPR and thus be relegated to the third division or league 1. They were obviously massively hardcore traveling fans and thus were totally devastated by the turn of events.

The whole encounter has endeared me to City and its fans ever since. So make sure you stuff the scum on Sunday.

That's a really great story. Since I am not involved in the culture I pretty much like every EPL team, and just really enjoy following all of English football. I'm a ManU fan since I was like 10 during the Cantona and Becks days, but I still like City and Liverpool alot, probably even more than most other EPL teams

Despite all that, on Sunday, bring it on bitches

Pretty entertaining game between Portsmouth and Bolton so far. 2-1 (Anelka, Kanu, Utaka) at the half, I see more goals ahead.

Werder Bremen/Bayern Munich in 45 minutes, might have to check that out once this is over. Beats Everton/Reading, no?

Best team not in the Champs League this year. Can't wait to see them next year. What an amazing squad they have over there.

Pretty good. Both seem to be going for it, Bolton opening to score early probably helped the game. Either a little lucky or great skill by Anelka to squeeze it through James' legs with not much else to shoot at (deflected off his leg and in). Portsmouth equalized shortly after off of a counter attack that started from what could have been a foul at half. Nice cross in, short pass to a wide open Kanu, tap in. Utaka with a nice long run on the 3rd goal.

Lots of counter-attacking chances by Portsmouth, Anelka barely missed a 2nd goal.

Wilhelmsson on for Bolton at the half...

What's gotten into Steed Malbranque? 2 goals in the opening 6 minutes? Spurs needed that...Derby didn't.
