You are getting 8:1 on your pf call if all the limpers also call. (About 9:1 if the BB also calls.)

I might be wrong, but I think that the odds of flopping an OESD,2 pair, trips or better are about 7:1 or so.

I dont really like the call either, but what happened next ?

I'm not surprised that some would fold, but I am surprised that this many would given the game conditions. Live game w/ horrible players who give you large implied odds to play your hand, good relative position to the raiser on the flop. There will be a 3 bet almost never by the BB or other players which means we are being asked to call $6 to win $58.

Online, I would lean further towards folding because you can't count on as big a payoff.

UTG calls, UTG1 calls, 2 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, HJ calls, Smuggy (OTB) raises, Befolder(SB) looks and sees T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9x and call, BB calls, all call.

Flop (15sb, rake & jackpot dropped): J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Go for the check raise. You have the redraw to the flush, sure, but not a good one. If you had a higher spade, I might say bet/re-raise here, but with just the open-ended draw, you should wait for the action from the button and then pop him to face everyone with two cold. Callers will likely have pairs or flush-draws, although they are still getting correct odds to call in most cases.

Betting out here, though, gives them better odds if they call the first time around, button raises and you reraise. So just check it and hope the action comes from your immediate right.

I donk it. The board is pretty draw heavy with all the gutshots and such floating about, so you'll probably get a ton of people calling. I'd start building a pot.

calling pf is bad imo but probably almost playable
i find donking the flop to be much worse and think this is an easy check

Do you have a goal on the flop here BBB? What is your plan after checking?

yea my goal is to see what happens and then either call if there's a bet and a few callers, and maybe raise if there are like 19 callers. our position sucks and we can't realistically take a free card, and c/r flop then c the turn seems weird.
