yeah, I can't have a king here really. I certainly don't call KQ to a 3bet OOP and I call a 3bet with AK like 10% of the time MAX.

I think theres a possibility of me having T9s or JTs. I DO call with them preflop sometimes.

I *think* if I called preflop with AA/QQ, I might take this line a decent % of the time.

Hate this hand. The way I think about these spots (maybe it's terrible), if you have a king you're going to try to get all in, and if you don't have a king you're unlikely to go for two streets of value. As such it looks like you're bluffing to me (though it helps knowing your hole cards obviously).

Also, I wouldn't overthink the "all-in looks like it wants a fold" stuff. Basically, as a villain, the bigger the bet the scarier it is almost always.

Hate preflop and I probably just try and check this hand down tbh.

PF is so bad. Most of what he calls you with has you smoked.

Thanks for replies. I am really suprised to hear so many say they hate preflop so much. Reraising with 88 in position to an aggressive player who opened in the CO really doesn't seem spewy to me at all, but mabye I should be calling a bit more and 3 betting a bit less. And if everyone is saying that this is going to get looked up so much by 99-qq then I think I may be using this line a lot more often when I do have the K. Thanks again I learned something. Oh and yeah timed down and looked up by JJ, nh Dan.

Preflop is fine; in fact it's probably a lot better than calling.
