Pokertracker & laptop harddrives
I'm thinking about buying my first laptop and since most of them come with a 5400RPM HD is that gonna affect the use of pokertracker or will there be no difference compared to a 7200RPM drive?

Re: Pokertracker & laptop harddrives
I would think that filtering/searching/reporting on the database, and such, would require a little more time. I don't think we're talking about any significant amount of time though. With a faster processor and more RAM than your old PC it might actually be faster.
Has anyone had any actual experience with this switch? |

Re: Pokertracker & laptop harddrives
There are plenty of laptops out now with 7200rpm drives. You won't find them at Dell, though.

Just wondering if there's a noticeable difference between the drives and worth choosing a different computer because of it. After all the laptop will mostly be used for poker |

Re: Pokertracker & laptop harddrives
When I upgraded to a RAID harddrive array (vastly increasing my harddrive speed) I noticed a huge upgrade in PokerTracker ability. I suggest you upgrade the harddrive.
