The right 4bet size is a size that makes it look like he has enough behind to get away from a shove. Otherwise it should be a larger bet that looks like a bluff. [/ QUOTE ] can you give an example of what an appropo 4-bet would be? it seems like what he put in was a good amount, 3x the 3/bet, which obviously denies set mining odds. although i don't really think set mining odds are there when you put in 1/3 of your stack (regardless of the very last best you have to call PF, you're still putting in 100 to win 200, even if the last bet called was win 200 by calling 25.) should he have made it 30 total? so 18 more to call? |
