Default Running party and FT is using all my CPU- anything I can do?

So I have a fairly decent machine: Pentium (R) CPU 3.00GHz, 2GB RAM. But since I have been running party and FT together it has been maxing the CPU.

The only programs I have running are Pokertracker, Hud, Party Planner, Itunes, Party and Full Tilt.

Is there anything I can do to any of these programs to increase their efficiency? Or do I simply need to upgrade? If so what would be the best thing to buy/where from?

Really appreciate any help you can offer!
