For this reason, KJ seemed the least likely. Unfortunately, it was the only hand I was beating.

Villain unlikely to 3-bet this at this limit, or most limits for that matter.

In that case I see no point in even seeing the turn card. You're behind to his entire range, drawing to 3 outs at best.

If he checks behind on the turn, your hand is good.

[/ QUOTE ]
No, that means he has a hand he doesn't want to be c/r-ed on because he thinks it has some showdown value. If he checks the turn behind it's probably a value check.

Preflop is standard.

Call flop.

Call most turns. Fold K, Q, and maybe J turns.

Fold river UI.

[/ QUOTE ]

Better analysis than mine.

On the flop, we're ahead of KQ/KJ/QJ/A7.

River:(6BB) T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero checks. Villian checks.

Yep, I got scared and ignored my reads. I had a sinking feeling that I'd made a bad mistake as soon as I checked. There's just something about the 2 street bluff that messes with my head. Sometime I take the worst of all possible paths and bluff the first street only. I'm not sure how big of a leak this lack of follow-through is, but it's definately a leak.

Villian shows A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] to win pot (6 BB).

[/ QUOTE ]

Given the read, this play is probably the worst. You value bet the turn for him when you knew he was calling anything in his range and then let the river get checked.

Seriously, most villains, both good and bad, are unlikely to fold this river UI. This is a forsaken blind steal. Doing anything but c/fing this turn is highly unorthodox.
