sorry, i am sure this has been established. but if a person has a spam type saying in their location, thats not allowed.
ie. loc. enjoying a $500 bonus. then they are running site to promote that..... thks morg. |

i did as i wrote this post. it would be more effective if another mod says something to him, as coming from me it seems to be business motivated....this was his response:
Why do you feel this constitutes an advertisement? No other mods have had any problem. |

This is exactly the Location text I would use to not go against the "Rules".
If you ban this, you will open up all sorts of hassle by way of "but, but" complaints. |

you are saying just leave it be? isnt that type of location akin to me having loc. free 10k so people inquire about it and i send them to my site that is offering it?? |

Yes, I think you should turn a blind eye to it.
Unless you think a whisper in his ear will get rid of it. Unfortunately, I suspect that someone who has thought of using such an obscure advert for his site won't go quietly. Edit: Strictly speaking, he can't have a url in his Location and he can't refer readers to his Profile. This does neither. |
