Default Three different types of calculations

If you had to rely solely on one of the following calculations to make a decision during each respective phase of a STT, which would they be?

1. pot odds
2. hand equity
3. ICM

when there are currently:

A. 7-9 opponents
B. 4-6 opponents
C. 1-3 opponents

hands equity and pot odds go hand by hands so I can't really understand what you want to know?

maybe i dont understand each component well enough, but dont each of those three calculations have the capability to give you a generalized suggestion on what action to take?

like, are there some cases when maybe there are 4-5 opponents left and bubbling becomes a huge factor, where ICM might be your greatest thing to worry about instead of, say, pot odds?

Actually, ICM can encompass every decision you make for the whole tournament. But when you're early and far from the bubble, pot odds/hand equity pretty much dictate what you do. Just keep in mind that every chip you gain is worth less than the chip you lose (that's the ICM part coming into it).

Bah, just ask Jonesy, he'll fill you in.
