Re: Final Table Bubble 109+R, bust on other table, still push?
(It is +$EV to shove. ~$350 - $400.)
MUD, you can pretty much say 1 chip = (Prize Pool) / (Chips), with Adanthar's numbers 1 chip = $0.0625. The difference between 10th and 9th is 12,800 chips. So when you go all in and are called, add an additional -12,800 to your stack as a loss. Blinds and Antes are 12,000. F = Everyone Folds. W = Win Chance if Called. $0.0625(12,000(F) + (1-F)*(66,000*(W) - (66,800)*(1-W))) = Profit from shoving. I'm ignoring when SB and BB both call, and calculating W as a weighted average of the two calling ranges. 33 vs Top 5% = 33/67 33 vs Top 10% = 40/60 33 vs Top 20% = 45/55 The more they call the worse it gets, but it never goes negative. Even if they both called top 20% hands, (or Big stack called 30% small 10%) you're still +$321 by shoving. For more reasonable 20%/10% calling ranges you're +$378 |

but folding is +$800 right? [/ QUOTE ] Wrong. You don't usually bust out when you push. |

Re: Final Table Bubble 109+R, bust on other table, still push?
Sorry if that was slightly confusing.
I really should have said: When you go all in, are called, and lose, it's an additional -12,800 chip loss. That adds in the -$800 you miss when you bubble, so it's ~+$350 on average accounting for that. |

Re: Final Table Bubble 109+R, bust on other table, still push?
does the possibility of the SB/BB watching the other table make a difference in this?
