Re: Bet/fold on the river
i don t understand why you would call this flop??
the hand hand isn t really strong and you cannot raise any turn [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. i would raise flop 3way with top paire bad kiker 2diamond flop. your opponement seem passive it s probably a bet fold but i bet call lol. i always say that in my head and always loose..... |

Re: Bet/fold on the river
You're ahead on A2,A6,A7 and KK.
I just can't see a loose passive(postflop) player waiting for the river to raise with these hands. Not even 1 in 10. Fold here. |

Re: Bet/fold on the river
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] villain is getting a damn good price to bluff this, or to fold out a better hand. we're getting huge odds here... we really ought to know for sure that this guy doesn't [censored] around in this spot in order for us to fold this. if we have no read here because we haven't been paying attention or because we haven't gotten a chance to, i suggest we call to see what he has (in order to start getting reads) and because calling here this time blind is hardly a mistake in limit. it's only a measurable mistake when you start calling here all the time in this spot vs this opponent knowing he doesn't [censored] around. [/ QUOTE ] :nodding in agreement: I've been shown everything from JJ to KQ to AA in this spot, even from stupidly passive players. [/ QUOTE ] on this board, with this flop, t, and river action, everytime I call here, they have it. If it was a different river card, maybe I call, but everything you were beating got there, and he won't have a worse than 1-10 times, passive player, crazy player, you are done here. |

Re: Bet/fold on the river
Unless you have a history with this guy you should fold here. This is one of those spots where it's obvious what you have and nobody ever folds an ace here. Basically, he expects you to call here so you should fold.
