finding other users; friendlist

hi, now i am back where i started: in the beginners forum [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

my questions:

1. how can i search for users?
2. i can'f find my friendlist. on the welcome screen after the log-in, only friends who are online are shown. where is the whole list?

I don't have any friends.

Is it anything to do with the Address Book on your Home page?

I'm guessing.
