3 bet calling range
Is a hand like j10 suited profitable in the long run calling a 3rd bet before the flop?
What other hands are profitable calling the 3 bet? How often should one consider 4 betting? |

Re: 3 bet calling range
This is way too situational to get much decent response. stacks, position, reads, image, history all have a huge impact.

Re: 3 bet calling range
You raise JTs UTG. A tight player from the small blind re-raises you.
You raise JTs on the button. A LAG on the BB re-raises you. Think about how different those two spots are... In short: your question has no answer due to the variables listed by skuzzy. |

Re: 3 bet calling range
to answer in a very general way...
JTs is a great drawing PF hand, however you should def fold in EP against any tight players unless you have some other read/information. In LP its still about who else is in the hand and how many... but if the sun, moon, and stars align (that is to say all circumstances line up) then it IS ok to call a 3bet with a hand like JTs. So it is playable sometimes, it just all depends... |
