MP1 missed his draw, and its possible that UTG1 missed as well. You've committed half your stack already. I see good reason for a call there. If he had trips, he would have raised it up fearing a flush hitting. Maaaybe he has AJ and rivered you, but you are committed with a respectable hand.

I Call. I would have expected trips and AJ to raise the flop or turn. So, you are only behind A8.

Am I the only one that thinks checking the turn is a good idea? If checked round it's nice for pot control purposes and we can c/c river, if we get bet at we can CRAI and put opponent to a decision (and probably stack his ace-whatever).

i don't like the check turn idea, because it's likely that at least one of the two villains is on a draw - therefore i think we have to bet the turn here.

as played it's a very clear call - your getting pot odds of 1:3 and have a reasonable hand.

I play "you're going to have to pay to suck out on me" poker, so I would of allin'd the turn. 650 in the pot, that's pretty ripe for the pickings this early on, and I don't want to see the river with 2 others with a decent but vulnerable hand. I put them on some straight draws/flush draws, or maybe even a weak ace. I get in all in on the turn...

as played though, you're pretty pot committed to call the river bet. the jack doesn't look like it could of helped out any hands besides AJ.
