Default Short stacking the grinder. 5/10 nl on absolute

playing heads up for about 30 Min. I have a history with him and he seems to be in a pattern. I have played hu with him trice before. He raises 2x the bb pre. Then leads for pot and will fold to re- raise about 80% of the time. I figure eventually he's gonna make a stand. This hand comes up.

I'm dealt Two black 8's on the bb, he raises 2x and call. I havent been re-raising too much pre. Stacks are 600 for me and 1300 for him.

Flop is 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I check he bets 40 I make it 80 he pushes.

Your play?

Not sure of your logic if you think c/c is awful, but c/minraising with mid pair on a two draw flop is ok.

Fold now as played.

ugh, does anyone ever read the set up???

I have been in this pattern with him evry session. The min re-raise has been with with every possible holding (draws, top pair, pure bluffs)

well, you say he folds to a raise 80% of the time on the flop. What does he do the other 20% of the time? You have some history so use that history to figure it out.

given the way he plays, minraise the flop with 100% of your holdings. I fold this flop no prob given the way he plays and continue to take candy from a baby.

lol...so you never mix up your play? you just c/r everytime and he fold 80%. well then fold and just c/r next time, you realize you don't need any real hand to be c/r'ing.

why don't you just try something different every once in awhile and actually play some poker.
