Re: Top 2 - WTF?
We've covered the fact that I should have raised or led flop - and i agree - but whats more interesting to me is what my hand looks like to villain after check calling flop and overbetting turn? And what do we put villain on?

Re: Top 2 - WTF?
Your line looks strong to me (call flop, lead turn). My guess is Villain has a straight and is trying to get value from a good second best hand. I say fold.

Re: Top 2 - WTF?
wow I really think I would have a hard time folding this. The fact that he didn't make a raise from the BB leads me to believe he doesn't have a set, except maybe 77. The only hand I'm really worried about is 910. I would call but I'm a call station.

Re: Top 2 - WTF?
I called eventually and he had AK diamonds and missed.
Still not sure it was the best play though |

Re: Top 2 - WTF?
*grunch* Rasie this flop to like 6- it'll make the hand easier to play from that point forward. I dont know if I like calling here without more of a history. Isn't this usually a straight from a donk?

Re: Top 2 - WTF?
I don't think calling is good..from a sane villain we are mostly looking at great made hands trying to get value and/or great draws. These guys are usually just thinking on the first level, and probably will show up with the hand their repping alot of the time.
