Re: Help me pick a College Football game to attend this year!
Yeah, I went to a game at Michigan and was amazed at the lack of noise there.
The band can crank it up and the student section can get all crazy but the open-ness of the stadium just sucks all that noise right out of there. Of course, this is partly compensated by the terrific atmosphere at the hockey games there at Yost arena which is freaking amazing and loud, loud, loud. If you're going to see one hockey game this year then this would have to rate as a top priority. Speaking of which, hockey season starts in early October. Often-times during a big football weekend like homecoming or hosting Ohio State they will also have Friday and Saturday night home hockey games. If you do go to travel all the way to Ann Arbor for a football game then strongly consider going to a hockey game there too. |

Re: Help me pick a College Football game to attend this year!
thanks for the responses guys...
I've got a cousin that goes to Clemson, so I'm considering that now as well... they have a home matchup vs Virginia Tech on 10/6. Having a place to stay plus possible free/cheap student tickets would be hard to pass up. |

Re: Help me pick a College Football game to attend this year!
There's the exact same amount of national championship implications in the usc vs. nu game as lsu vs. uf. In fact, if you take all 4 of these teams, uf has the most questions out of everybody, and usc is the consensus #1 team.

LSU v. Virginia Tech is going to be pretty sick.
the USC v. Nebraska game is going to be awesome as well. and there's always OSU v. Michigan. |
