I call the all in here. Villain doesn't bet the flop, and when hero checks the flop and turn, villain thinks their hand is good. I expect villain not to have an Ace here most of the time.

lol, you're terrible.

anyone who thinks of calling this push is a god damn moron.

seriously, he's pushing into the only guy that can severly cripple him and even if you do have him beat I can't imagine the percentage you have to be where this is a +EV call.

We have 2 relatively shortstacks (although not really since they each have 8bb, but no telling when blinds go up to 200/400, so they are going to be knocked out soon) (unless there is 1 more round of 100/200 a25).

Why nobody is advocating to bet the flop?
We are ahead almost 100%.

I don't like calling to Albatross push, he can be on 2 pairs, a big draw or actually a made flush knowing you would call with a big A.

sykes, what is your problem? id shove preflop, his opening range is a billion times wider than his calling range.

I don't know enough about Albatross, but if he is raising wide preflop, shoving is +EV. Leading this flop is really bad. As played lead the turn and reevaluate to a shove. As played turn is kind of close, but I don't know enough about his game to comment on it.

You are either doing it to induce a bluff shove or turning a very strong hand into a bluff.

I didn't say to fold preflop, all I said that calling the push on turn is awful.

So... this is why we're not betting the flop? Can you elaborate? Sorry, I'm a little confused there. Why are we not betting the flop to protect our hand against flush draws?

By not betting the flop aren't we setting ourselves up to be bluffed off our hand when the scare flush card hits?

we don't lead because we expect him to c-bet. if we had raised pf then obviously we're putting in another bet based on the strength of our hand and the texture of the flop, but since he raised into us, we expect him to bet for a couple reasons, mainly because he was the pf raiser so players like albatross rarely raise pf and don't follow up on the flop with a bet, and also given stack sizes he knows we don't want to commit too many chips with marginal hands so he'll go ahead and bet us off.

because of this, we check to induce a bet, in which case we'll come over the top with a crai.
