no. Im shoving or checking.

Hes going to make a hero call or not, im going to let him make a big mistake.

How does checking allow him to make a big mistake? Push if that is what you want, make a value bet between 20-60 if you are trying to extract the most amount of money from your opponent.

WTF on the flop check. You squeeze, get your fish to call, flop the card you want and check? Come now....

As played the river is a shove and its not even close. Your flop check coupled with the diamond turn and call will result in a 9 (and maybe even an 8) calling your bet. No way he plays like that preflop and then has an elaborate skeme to c/r the river on you. Too afraid with flop check that the river gets checked through. He value bets any river that he thinks beats you and c/c a ton that he deems showdownable...

I have no idea why you would want to check this flop. Please enlighten me.

i think a flop check squeezes more value out of pp's, also we can still get the money in by the river if we want to.

also i'm actually leaning more towards a check now on the river.

Do you think the majority of his range consists of PP's? And how are we to get more value out of a PP of 77- without him improving to smoke us? No way he has TT-AA with preflop play.

For the record, I do not believe PP's are the majority of his range. I do think cards that either have draws that will continue or weaker aces do though.

edit to add - I do not believe that checking allows us to extract more out of the times he does infact have a small PP here over a c-bet.
