Re: NL25 flop 3bet useless ?
I believe this is a possibility, but you shouldnt really. If your going to get paid off on the flop, you are on the turn unless it beats you.
So this is fine. |

Re: NL25 flop 3bet useless ?
I wouldnt get results orientated. Alot of cards can kill the value you get in hands like this. Villan can have two pair alot of time here and maybe 88 even. Maybe make the raise slightly smaller but not mini raise. NH

Re: NL25 flop 3bet useless ?
You have the nuts, but there are also a good amount of cards that you don't really want to see on the turn.
I'm kind of torn as to what I want to do in this spot. Considering you're in position, I might go for just calling his raise, and then raising him on the turn. It seems pretty likely that he's going to follow up his raise with a bet on the turn, even if he is weak. So it'll help trap more money in the pot that way. I don't think I like smooth calling the turn though. He's probably going to give up his bluff by the river if you haven’t folded, and if he's got a big hand, you might as well get the money in on the turn. |
