\"Over-Rolled\"
Does this ever happen to anybody?
I've been playing NL$20 with a BR of about $800. I won a tourney today, bumped it up to $1.3K and decided to keep playing NL$20. Well after a while I had dropped that down about 7BI. I dropped about 2 BI through badbeats and a QQ<KK. But the rest I feel like I played too loose. Do you guys get bored of the limit you are at and start playing recklessly? Should I bump it up to NL$50 till at least it drops under $1K? I like the fish at NL$20..I ran $400 up to $800 in a few weeks so I feel that is where I can do the most profit if I play at my best. Thanks in advance guys. |

Re: \"Over-Rolled\"
Over rolled is a relative term. if you feel over rolled and think you are ready to move up...then do it...but dont be afraid to move back down.
I personally hate moving back down. Currently, I have over 100 BIs for the level I am playing, however, its there because of a goal I set myself after I had a huge tilt induced downswing and so on. usually i consider 20 BIs rolled, 30 BIs where I like to be at least, 40 BIs shot taking territory, and 50 BIs over rolled and time to move up. But that is relative to you. |

Re: \"Over-Rolled\"
There are two requirements to moving up:
1.) A big enough bankroll 2.) Ability to beat the level you are moving up to (you may want to expand this to say ability to beat the higher level for higher $ per hour than lower level) Both conditions must be met before you move up. |

Re: \"Over-Rolled\"
What bb/100 are you running at?
Over how many hands? If a decent sample size, play half as many tables and take a shot. If you drop five buy-ins or think the play is much better, go back to picking on the little guys. I didn't move up to NL50 until I had 1500 so I guess I'm a BR nit too. |
