hmm i think given the river card his river c/r is pretty bad. no way samh is folding aces up here, his only hope is really that he can make him fold JT. and of course vs draws calling is more optimal than c/ring... A9s, A8s, A7s is all that this isn't a spew against. folding out all worse hands and 3 extra Ax's doesn't seem like a very effective play.

As far as I know this is the real hand history. This isn't one of my hands that I changed or anything..

Ok maybe this hand is only interesting to me. Of course it is hard to decipher as an observer but I couldn't figure out possible ranges to make Boosted include QQ in his river c/raising range.

At first I thought it could be for value if there were a lot of reads involved such as Samh reraising AK, AQ pre, betting flop w/ 55, 66, raising turn w/ AJ, value betting thin (KJ), not calling pre w/ less than AJ, and Boosted not slowplaying sets or 2 pair on flop, turn, etc but that seems too unlikely.

So it must be as a bluff, but why would he include QQ in his c/ring range as a bluff and not missed diamonds and other weaker hands and have QQ in his c/c range. I guess one explanation could be that boosted thought Samh bet/folding range on the river is so much greater than his b/calling range and boosted could turn some of his c/calling hands into c/raising hands as bluffs esp if Samh isnt value betting KJ? Like instead of having his river c/raising range be KQ/missed draws, he can make it KQ/missed draws and KK/QQ because SamH is bet/folding one pair A's so often on the river.

More likely, I'm probably just thinking too deeply into it.

Makes no sense. If he put him on a non-ace hand, the hand is probably folding to the check/raise. I guess he just turned QQ into a bluff hand and the board doesn't look conducive enough for a bluff

he's bluffing vs samh's range, which should include thin VB's and some missed straight draws.

maybe he also thinks that samh raises 2p+ on the turn most of the time, so hence his bluff is +ev vs his range(in boosteds opinion).

I'm sure theres also a ton of history between these two, which is why having a random post this hand is dumb, since it gives no reads either way.

You're right but it's no worse than every other post on this board that is "what do I do on the turn w/ AA against a 22/16 TAG?" w/ no other reads

I wasn't looking for the "correct answer" or whether or not this is +EV. I was more so just wondering if anyone thought there could be enough history for this to be for value.
