Re: 4/180 pocket 10s played right?
1. don't post results, cause you never get a good analysis with people knowing your result.
2. as SB didn't reraise he will have a small PP or high suited connectors most of the time. trapping with a high PP with the BB left to act isn't a good play. on the flop i think you have two possibilities raise or call. with a raise you get more information where you stand - so usually i prefer this play. against an aggressive opponent i call and let him bet into me. on the turn i think your raise is fine. villain shows weakness with this smallish bet. as he called your raise on the turn you might be beaten, but you get 4:1 odds on the river, so i think the call here is right two. so i think the only problem is the flop, where i think a raise is straighter poker and in this case would have saved you some chips - but as you posted the result my analysis might be incorrect. |

It's going to be hard to analyze this hand from pre-flop because I've seen the results, admittedly :P.
That said, check/call to river with an over. |

Re: 4/180 pocket 10s played right?
I raise the flop and then put no more chips into the pot.
The exception might be if villain called the flop raise, checked the turn and then led out the river with a half pot bet. I'd have to assess if he missed a draw and was trying to buy the pot. |
