FTP, Epassporte, and player transfers
My friend has recently done well in tournaments and would like to cash out a portion. The problem is he does not have Epassporte or any other payment processor.
Would I be risking a ban (or a red flag) if I got transfered the money to my name and used my Epassporte to cash it out for him? Anyone with experience in this or a greater understanding of FTP rules? |

Re: FTP, Epassporte, and player transfers
If you don't play enough to cover(or come close) their cost they just might check you out. They are not a bank or money changer.

Re: FTP, Epassporte, and player transfers
So from your experience they only check out players who don't pay enough rake (I'm assuming this is the cost)? If this is the case I am a longterm player so it shouldn't be a problem on that front.
I am more weary about money laundering accusations because it will be a sizeable amount. Has anyone contacted FTP about large player to player transactions beforehand? In other words found it neccessary to "clear" it with them first? |
