David Wells goes off on Bud Selig

besides these quotes being completely awesome, I think this is pretty bad that players like Wells and I am sure many more players have no respect for Selig. What will happen to Wells? suspension or nothing?

Players aren't supposed to have respect for Selig. He represents the owners and as such is the players' enemy, not their friend. Chelios said the same thing about Bettman, and he too is a loudmouth idiot who should've retired two years ago.

I like David Wells because I think he's entertaining. However, he acts like such a fool so much of the time that his statements have no credibility and carry no weight. He's just making an ass of himself and giving reporters something to write about.

He'll end up with a fine and if he does it again he'll end up with a bigger fine and maybe a suspension.

Chelios is far from being a David Wells, Brett Hull, or Roenick, in terms of being a "loudmouth." In addition just because Chelios is old does not mean he stinks and should retire, He helped lead the Red Wings to the playoffs last season and he is doing it again this season. His offensive stats are not as good as they use to be, but is defensive game is still very solid.
