Probably I would have raised to 4 or 4.5 on the flop.

I think you played it ok. there is little value on betting the Turn or the river.

I would flat call the flop.
I like the turn check and river check.

When we weigh up our hands against his range that he calls flop raise with, we are not ahead often enough to grow a big pot.

Could it be that the raise induced villian to check both the turn and river?

If so then what would be the better option with the least risk? To call or raise

So iam saying the contrary of most of you. Could you explain me why checking the turn and river and why not value betting? Even at these stakes I would pot the river.
Here it is either a nuts slowplay or a weak club which is easy to make fold! imo

No one folds a club on this board after you check the turn. You just aren't repping a big club.

Also, your flop raise is pretty small. 4.50 is around a potsized raise and will cut down on his odds to draw.

River is an easy value check.
